Our year 3 class is a vital stepping stone for all pupils as they move from Key Stage 1 to Key Sage 2. We understand what needs to be done to ensure this transition fosters each child’s confidence and prepares them for the learning which will go on throughout the rest of Primary School.

The move to becoming increasingly more independent learners is something which begins with careful scaffolding and modelling so that the confidence children had in Key Stage 1 is built upon so that each child continues to shine as bright.

You will notice many of the ways your child is working may become more familiar with methods you have been taught as your child builds upon the knowledge they have in all subjects and is set up to thrive in their learning.
